The Search on Getfished is designed to help you locate a particular fishing spot by name. The search only includes locations and regions. If you want to search for specific fish species, the Fishing Reports page features a separate search tool. You can also Submit A Fishing Report yourself or Contact Getfished to speak to our team members.

Saltwater

In saltwater areas, tide times, solunar bite times, the current weather forecast, water temperature, and other marine-related conditions are provided. This information is updated every hour throughout the day so that you will have the most up-to-date tide, weather, and bite time details for your trip.

Estuaries

Tide times are also provided for each location, where available. Since estuaries are usually situated inland, away from tide stations, the tide times may differ a bit depending on how far inland your fishing will take place. As a general rule, for every kilometre you go inland from a coastal tide station, the tide will be delayed by about 10 to 20 minutes. To get the best results, it is advisable to check the nearest tide station and make the appropriate adjustment to the time, or consult local anglers as to their experience with tide changes in that particular estuary.

Freshwater

It makes sense that places with fresh water do not have tide times, but they do provide current solunar bite times, together with weather conditions and forecasts and available fishing reports.
